It was a Sunday and as usual Mr. Walter was cleaning his garden. In
autumn, the garden was covered with dry leaves.
"Come, Bill, help me clean the garden," Mr. Walter shouted.
Bill agreed to help his father. Bill was putting the leaves into a
wheelbarrow when suddenly a gust of wind blew all the leaves away.
“Dear me!" said Mr. Walter, Well have to do it all over again.
But Bill was having fun. He ran after the leaves and caught a few.
The wind was so strong that the leaves were flying everywhere.
"Leave them, Bill," said his father.
"We can sweep them some other day?
How about flying a kite now!"
"Hurrah!" cried
Bill. That's a great idea.
