Pinky the Buffalo

Pinky the buffalo was only two inches tall. None of the animals of the jungle liked her. But nobody knew how courageous Pinky really was. 

One day, a group of woodcutters came to the jungle. Pinky saw them and said, "I must warn everybody against these woodcutters."

She rushed to climb up a tree. "How dare you climb up my tree?" roared Hootie the owl.

"Please, let me climb up. I need to warn everybody! pleaded Pinky. 

But the owl refused to listen. Pinky ran to the next tree but a monkey sitting atop the tree didn't allow Pinky to do so either.

She quickly hid behind a shrub and grunted so loudly that the woodcutters were terrified and ran away.

All the animals thanked Pinky for saving their lives and she soon became one of the most loved buffaloes.
