51 killed in Israeli attack on refugee camp in Gaza

Palestinians protested in many countries around the world on Saturday to demand an end to Israel's killings in Gaza.

An Israeli airstrike on Gaza's Magazi refugee camp killed 51 people on Saturday night. Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that most of the dead were women and children.

WAFA also reported that several people were injured in the attack. However, Reuters could not independently verify this information.

The death toll from Israel's attacks on Gaza continues to rise. Most of the dead were ordinary Palestinians. Palestinians protested in many countries around the world on Saturday to demand an end to Israel's massacre in Gaza. They want an end to this month-long war.

On October 7, Hamas, an armed organization of Palestinians from Gaza, ambushed Israel and killed more than 1500 people in a few hours. Israel jumped on Gaza from that day to take revenge. First they started airstrikes. Now ground operations are going on alongside the air strikes.

Israel claims that they are carrying out this attack to eliminate Hamas from the soil of Gaza. Their target is not ordinary Palestinians. But Hamas is using ordinary Palestinians as 'human shields'.

Reuters sought the Israeli army's statement on the attack on the Magaji refugee camp. However, there was no immediate response.

Ashraf al-Kidra, spokesman for the Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza, said many people were killed in the attack. However, he did not specify the exact number of dead people.

Al Kidra also said that because there is no more space in the emergency ward of the hospital, some seriously injured people have to be treated on the floor.
